Seo Yi-su is one of the supporting characters in the Live Action Netflix series Sweet Home. She is introduced in the second season. She is portrayed by Kim Si-Ah.
Biography[]
Seo Yi-su is a human-monster hybrid who was conceived by her human mother, Seo Yi-Kyung and monster father, Nam Sang-Won. She is a mysterious girl who has the ability to turn humans to monsters, who automatically become loyal and obedient to her.
As a young child, she was initially curious about humans because of her mother being one, leading her to approach them and say hi. Even in spite of her harmless greeting, her sole existence of being part monster, consequently, lead her to be targeted and relentlessly attacked by humans. Unable to comprehend their violent hatred for her and monsters, she had grown to deem every human to be evil thus despising them.
Personality[]
Her backstory showed her as a typical young and innocent child, who simply enjoyed playing with her brother figure Hyun-su and the baby monster, she made friends with. After maturing again, she's no longer afraid of humans and doesn't hesitate to transform one of the humans that were chasing her to a monster, killing the other humans. Due to the lack of affection, she received from her mother as well as being continuously hunted by humans, she became an overall distrustful and resentful girl.
Physical Appearance[]
Seo Yi-Su has short, bushy, black hair with bangs, appearing at the age of an adolescent girl. Her eyes, turn cloudy when she uses her powers. She wears mittens, which she is forced to wear by her mother to prevent her from transforming humans to monsters.
Powers and Abilities[]
Rapid Growth: A possible side effect from being reproduced by a human and a monster. When she was in her mother's womb, the presence of her father's original body caused her to grow exponentially in size in a span of minutes. This forced Yi-kyung to deliver, what was supposed to be a new-born baby, a roughly six month-old infant. After some time goes by, she has already grown into a toddler but then ages fast again to around an early teenager when she got shot in the back by an arrow.
Monster Control: Has the unique power to transform humans, into monsters she can control via touch. This is what makes very special as all the neo-humans shown so far, have the ability to transform their body part into a functioning weapon.
Telepathy: Repeated aloud the exact phrases that have been lingering in her mother's mind.
Regenerative Healing Factor: An ability that every neo-human share. One of the scenes in her backstory, showed her surviving a bullet through the head.

Seo Yi-Kyung - Her mother considered her a threat to others, so she would keep her locked away and treated her as a monster. Seo Yi-su was aware that her own mother wished for her to die, which further fueled her hatred for her mother.
Cha Hyun-Su - Naturally, she views Hyun-su as an older brother as he took care of her and is the only person in her life who is like her.
Kim Yeong-su - She helps and protects him, and they become close. They care about each other and support each other, like good friends or even like an older sister and younger brother.
