Synopsis[]
In her trek to the stadium, Eun-yu begins to feel a personal worry. While Sang-wook (Sang-won) searches for the girl, she plans a counterattack in the background.
Plot[]
The recap of Sweet Home Season 3 Episode 6 begins with Monster Hyun-su realising that he is not strong enough alone to break out of the bus. He approaches Human Hyun-su mentally and rants about how he is going out of his way to worry for the Lee siblings. But he realises that is because he is also part of Hyun-su, just the part that is unwanted. He wonders who will prevail if they become one and merges with Human Hyun-su.
Hyun-su finally breaks out and we see that it is the human version. He attacks Eun-hyuk who simply breaks off a piece of his wing. Hyun-su claims it is a gift but declares that it is Eun-hyuk who will be helping him. He then has a sweet reunion with Eun-yu who is glad that he is back.
As the trio heads to the stadium, Eun-yu keeps bringing up childhood memories with Eun-hyuk. He wonders why and she points out that since neohumans are fast learners they can also learn to feel emotions. He simply comments that he is glad her injured foot from Season 1 has healed and she smiles.
At Bamseom, the Crow Platoon starts gathering all the humans in the church. Seon-hwa hides while Ji-na refuses to go with Dong-jun. She claims that all the troubles started because of her as Choi went to Bamseom for her medicine. However, Don-jun grabs her and makes his way to the church.
A different faction of humans are busy searching for Yi-su. Cheol-jong runs into Jin-guk who actually wants to save her. But the hitchhiker convinces him that she is a monster. They find a room with possessed humans and while Cheol-jong runs, Yi-su possesses Jin-guk as well. Sang-won watches these developments on the CCTV and orders Chi-seong to kill Jae-jin and Ja-young as the humans are more effective in leading him to Yi-su.
As for Lim, he finally pulls out a vial from Ja-young’s body. Tak is confused and Lim shares that all Bamseom special infectees aka MHs are made from Sang-won’s original body. One last vial remains and he gets ready to inject Tak. As they make small talk, Tak lets it slip that Yi-su can infect humans.
A grave mistake as Lim changes his mind. Turns out, he was saving that vial for himself when he got infected. Tired of waiting, he had decided to use it on Tak who could then save the Stadium Survivors. But with the new discovery, Lim swallows the vial before Tak can stop him.
A disappointed Tak goes back to his men and runs into Ha-ni who tells him about Kim and Chanyoung. To sneak in the two men, Tak distracts Sang-won from the CCTV by telling him everything that transpired with Lim and the vial. Sang-won is upset to learn that the Bamseom MHs are made from him and he destroys the comms centre.
With his job done, Tak goes to Kim who hides in his bunker. They apologise to each other for the loss of their men and Tak comes clean about his state. Kim urges him to hold on till the end and promises to use him when he becomes a monster as their last line of defence.
Meanwhile, Eun-yu starts hallucinating and realises she is about to turn. She thanks Eun-hyuk for coming back and begs Hyun-su to remind her of her emotions if she ever becomes a neohuman. She then stays back while Eun-hyuk and Hyun-su head on. Eun-hyuk continues to be apathetic and Hyun-su believes that he is lying about being emotionless. He promises to drag Eun-hyuk back to Eun-yu once they are done killing the Bamseom MHs.
Back at the stadium, as Dong-jun rounds up the remaining humans, he runs into Yi-su’s minions and starts running. He runs past Ye-seul and Jin-ok who are still searching for Yeong-su. Yi-su stops in front of the women and holds up Yeong-su who has turned into a slime monster. She believes the women will be revolted but Jin-ok tears up as she hugs Yeong-su.
Sang-won shows up and Jin-ok defends Yi-su and Yeong-su. Believing that he is still Sang-wook, Jin-ok plays the sympathy card by thanking him for bringing back her daughter’s corpse in Season 1. However, Sang-won simply kills her while telling Yi-su this is her punishment for running. A terrified Ye-seul runs off while Yii-su commands her minions to attack Sang-won.
