Nam Sang-Won is later revealed to be the main antagonist in the Live Action Netflix series Sweet Home. He is portrayed by Lee Shin-Sung.

Biography[]

Prior to the events of Season 1, Nam Sang-Won and Seo Yi-Kyung were engaged and lived together in Green Home. Everyone thought he went missing two days before their wedding, but in reality, he volunteered to be experimented on by the military in an attempt to undo his monster transformation and remove the "curse."

In Episode 6, he is seen talking with Yi-Kyung in a flashback. He asks about the condition of Green Home prior to them moving in and she affirms that it's "pretty okay for an old building." She asks when he gets off work and suggests they get dinner, which they both laugh at. She jokingly pouts and loses composure, complaining that his job overworks him. Curious, she looks at his tablet, which is open and displaying his CruCru blog. He quickly takes it from her and hides it in his desk drawer, distracting her with questions about their wedding photoshoot.

Personality[]

Sang-Won is an intelligent, hard-working man. He is also very secretive, as he did not want Yi-Kyung to know about the CruCru blog and made excuses to not spend time with her while he was studying it. Although this caused her some doubt, he did love her, considering he locked his tablet with a passcode that was their wedding date to protect it from prying eyes.

Physical Appearance[]

Nam Sang-Won is a tall, thin man that wears glasses. He dresses sharply and has a neat haircut.

Trivia[]

  • It is very likely that he is currently possessing Pyeon Sang-Wook.
    • In Episode 6, we learn that he went to be experimented on by the military at the same facility Jung Ui-Myeong worked at, and the military woman confirms that he is alive but he's no longer there.
    • In Episode 10, we learn that Ui-myeong was killed by a monster in that research facility while he and two others were experimenting on it and his body had been possessed before later being destroyed by Cha Hyun-Su.
    • Pyeon Sang-Wook is seen "alive" and without his burn scars at the end of Episode 10 despite being shot and bleeding out earlier in the episode.
      • This is similar to what happened with An Seon-Yeong's body, as she no longer had a gunshot wound in her neck while her body was being possessed by Ui-myeong.
  • In Episode 8 of Season 2, when conversing with the doctor while possessing the body of Pyeon Sang-Wook. Sang-Woo said he was test subject 1.
    • Which means he was also the special infectee possessing Jung Ui-Myeong in Season 1. As in a season 2 flashback it is implied that he possessed Sang-Wook after Cha Hyun-Su 'killed' his host.
