Kim Seok-Hyeon is one of the characters in Sweet Home. He is portrayed by Woo Hyeon.
History[]
Biography[]
A grocery store owner who is often abusive towards his wife.
Throughout the Series[]
He was married to Seon-Yeong but abused her throughout their marriage. At the beginning of the monster apocalypse he is among the survivors downstairs. Throughout the series despite the circumstances, he still wanted the survivors to pay for the food in the convenience store and even at one point locked them out when things didn't work out for him.
When Cha Hyun-Su arrives and is revealed to be in a monsterization process, he's the first one to object and demand to throw him out for his safety. His selfishness would soon backfire on him when his nose started to bleed, meaning that his monsterization process had started too, and when the group isolated him until he became a monster.
After he became a monster, his own wife was the one who demanded to kill him and beat him to death with a metal pipe.
Personality[]
An idiotic coward yet an abusive and controlling husband who didn't have qualms physically abusing his wife throughout their marriage life. He is shown to be very selfish, cruel, ruthless and petty, refusing to share things in his store with others, and only cares about his life.
He seems to have little shame when it comes to life such as when he asks Cha Hyun-Su, who he has been trying to kill, how to not transform into a monster indicating him as a narrow-minded and judgemental person.
He also shows signs of grandiose vanity when it's revealed his hair is actually a wig to cover up his bald head and behaves vain over it when the wig flies off under any circumstances.
Despite his selfish and cruel personality, he does seem to show genuine regrets for abusing his wife, An Seon-Yeong, after his transformation when he apologizes to her.

He's shown to be a short old man and wears a wig to hide his bald head.
As a monster he is shown to have hair growing in a fast rate all over his body.
